Why are you upset you were turned down for lunch/coffee when you've said in this thread you really didn't want to have lunch with her anyway?

You said you made the offer to be polite. She turned you down using her husband as an excuse to be polite.

To the outside observer, it seems you don't like the fact that she doesn't want to meet you as much as you want her to. It isn't the husband that is insecure.

All that being said, I'd trust my wife to meet up with an old male friend without me, but she'd never do that. And that's one reason why I trust her.

I have to attend a class next week an hour from the office.
Another woman and I were going to carpool.

Is that a date?
Should her husband be jealous?

You people are weird and pathetic.

I've been quite concise that dudes that can't trust their broads to speak to the opposite sex in the most benign way possible are pathetic

Uh oh, your wife is having lunch with a male coworker.
You better go break it up.
She's blushing and getting moist.

What a sad life you must live feeling inferior to every other male on the planet.

Their wife controls the P.
No matter how bad another guy wants her it isn't happening unless she chooses to spread her legs.

These losers just don't trust their wives to keep their legs closed, it's that simple.
Why don't they trust their wives to keep their legs closed?
Because she's probably making it clear that he isn't getting the job done in the bedroom.

I had this conversation years ago with the husband - he asked me why I go get coffee in the morning with Mr Librarian and I said bc I want coffee - and he said well mr librarian probably wants more than coffee - and I laughed

So I told him, in the afternoon I get coffee with
Ms. Lesbian-Librarian - so what’s the difference?

He never questioned it again.

I just can't imagine being an adult and having to call home for approval to have lunch with someone, as if I were a child.
Your wife will control if there is any s*x, she gets the final decision.
Either you trust her or you don't, most guys on here don't trust their wife to keep her legs closed.

It's just weird.

How are you not getting what actually happened here and everyone is saying.

You asked her on a date, or at least what she thought was a date.

She let you know she had a husband and wasn’t interested in going on what she perceived as a date with you.

It’s not because her husband is super jealous and controlling and untrusting of her. It’s because she respects her husband enough to not put herself into a situation where it could be perceived or viewed from the outside as her going on a date with someone.
