dude... that's cheap as frick. bikram anywhere is at least 15 for a drop in and 100+/month on a payment plan.

most gyms do offer yoga, but only a few get it right with good teachers and intensity.

my club, a chain, offers yoga class for no additional charge. in addition, we have a giant techno-screen in the big enclosed workout area. A computer drives programming onto the screen. You can go in by yourself or with a workout partner or trainer and select from 8 or 10 programs, including yoga. You do it with the screen person if you can't make it to the in person classes.

ANYTIME fitness. They are one of a few brands my BC/BS PPO pays part of my membership for. I can go to any of them around the nation. I have a "fob" which I put up to the keyless lock on the door. Some brands, I have to sign in.
Some I just use the fob.

Seems like more gyms would do this. Instead of marketing just as a gym I'd go for an overall fitness center that offered Yoga, Pilates, Spin Class, Cross Fit training as well as traditional weight lifting gym. That would be definitely worth $40 per month or more.

A 6 month unlimited is $375 and a year of yoga/pilates is $600. If chain gyms offered this as a part of their package they'd make a killing.

My gym offers yoga and cross fit packages. There's one lady that does the yoga classes and she's supposedly amazing. She's in her mid 60s and a little fruity, but her classes are always full.

I still don't understand the need to work out in groups? I don't understand cross fit for this reason? I was doing super sets in 2000 in HS with friends, almost the exact same thing. I've never felt the need to work out in a group, especially with the opposite sex. Its counter productive and always will be.

My wife loves classes. I tell her all the time, why the heck do you need to go to a yoga class for the 150th time? Do you not know it well enough on your own? I don't get it, but hey a couple classes a month to keep the wife in shape is money well spent IMO.

As for yoga, to show you new moves and to make sure you are doing it right.

Also yoga is the easiest thing in the world to quit during a video out of boredom. The few classes I have done keep you engaded. I need to do it more cause I am not flexible at all

Compared to a gym membership of $15 per month it is
Studio has limited availability and more personal training/attention, this a higher cost.

15 per month gym makes its money on people that pay and don't come.

What the hell can you do in life 16x a month for less than $64?

My gym is ripping my eyeballs out at $140/month.

Damn, I only pay $25 for 24hr fitness. $80 for a gym membership is absurd.
