These days, women are generally not afraid of getting their tails whipped. Even if it does come to blows between women, it is unlikely they are going to come away with anything short of scrapes or bruises....maybe hair pulled.
With few exceptions men know that someone may be a hell of a lot more dangerous than they look. Some dude may look weak but he may possess skills or a weapon that will eff you up. Calls for more civility....until it doesn't.
