Yeah I don’t know why more states don’t abandon it like AZ and Hawaii.

Why do new days start at 12:00 AM instead of 1:00 AM?
Why is 12:59 AM not actually called 12:59 PM?

Have you ever seen an analog clock?

But why isn't the 1 in the 12 spot? Makes no sense man.

I'm in Maui all week and my internal clock is so screwed up. Been waking up at 4am HI time every morning. Add to that we got up at 1am the other night to watch the sun rise at the volcano and biked 16 miles down. I need a vacation from this vacation. Our trip home will take 20 hours. But, the trip is free, so...And this island is gorgeous.

That wouldn't be much of a zone, it would just be the time.

Time zones are not the issue, daylight savings is. Keep the extra daylight, get rid of the other. I guess, technically, we want to keep daylight savings but make it permanent and never go back to original time, right?
