And yet, a current passport will suffice to get you on a airplane. Ironic.
Louisiana gon' Louisiana.
Louisiana gon' Louisiana.

Absolutely asinine arguement... your government knows who you are, where you go and what you do... you are already in a police state and you refuse to accept it... generations before me already sealed my fate because they let it happen for the greater good...I'm not going to continue playing that bullshite game of pretending that daddy government doesnt know x, y, or z.... they fricking know exactly what and when it happens... so take your nonsense drivel and redirect your post to someone who can do something about it.

The only real way to escape is to chop off your dick and dress up like a lady to use the female bathroom. Become ungovernable.

All travelers, including TSA PreCheck® enrollees, must have a REAL ID or other acceptable form of identification (e.g., passport) in order to fly once TSA is enforcing the REAL ID requirement at airports.
The peasants just have precheck; the rest of us have Global Entry which comes with a Real ID approved card.

Bootlickers support anything the "gubment" does.
They actually believe this keeps them safer.

Strange. Real ID and its "Skynet" / Smart-City / Control-Grid ramifications have been discussed and ripped for several years already. Where you been, Hoss?
If you've been waiting for Mainstream anything like Hannity, podcasters, "alt-Right", CNN, USA Today to ever get you up to speed on the digital grid, you're going to be caught completely flat-footfooted.

"Global Entry" is an interesting phrase for what it really is.
When you're told you card is "obsolete" and being replaced by a "safe" injectible nanotech-sized "ID Chip", will you make any fuss? Or go along with the program?

What is it, really?

Nah, I’ll pass. Can just carry said chip in a different card or device. If alternatives aren’t offered, we can have a conversation about the why behind it

You and I are the ONLY ones who can do anything about it.
No Deep State President or politician is going to do a damn thing to help. No one with a functioning brain should expect they would. Not Trumptards. Not Obamabots. No one.

Looking forward to our mandatory "Here-to-Serve-You" seminars in 2027 on how NOT to resist govt "help".

Real ID will allow you and participants of society to be tracked and tagged like sci-fi movies, where malevolent authorities can see every purchase and every move you make.
You say this like you do not have a debit card or credit card or make online purchases.

Yes, that's the point. They incrementally chip away at our rights as not to arouse the sheople. Judging by the responses in this thread, it's working
You do realize that the documents being talked about were given to you by...gasp...the same government who is asking you to produce them. The same exact...gasp....government who asks you to produce these same exact documents just to get a job.
Of course you do not have to produce birth certificate or SS card. Tax return docs, paycheck stubs and others can be substituted.

Go by one of the private DMV places. In BR one on Coursey near Sherwood Forest. Cost a few dollars more but fast and the workers are not shitty people with an attitude.
I took my passport and a bill with my name and address with old license and was easy.

Beginning May 7 to enter any federal facility will require a Real ID. We do a lot of work on Barksdale and it's going to be a pain in the arse to make sure all our guys have them.
Same here. It’s already a pain in the arse to get on base for work. This will give me a reason to go less often
