Colorado has been RealID compliant since 2012, so I'm not worried about it

People are complaining because our legislators fiddle farted around and didn’t get around to approving it in Louisiana until the very last minute, and now everyone is at the mercy of the OMV, their 50 year old computer system, and their offices full of employees that DGAF.

Real ID has been available in Louisiana since 2016. But yes, OMV is garbage. Go to one of the Express OMVs.

The computers have been fritzing out since the mad rush started. And yes, their system is 50 years old (from gf that works in state IT).

Do you realize freedoms and rights are not guaranteed? Nope. History is filled with people forcefully taking their freedoms and rights. Then once they had them they used that same threat of force to keep them.
Yet I see you doing nothing but typing. Seems you love you some gubment too.
Or maybe, just maybe, you are screaming at ghosts on this one.
I will spell it out as plainly as I can.
Real ID is nothing more than a driver's license. You do realize you never had the right to drive on public roads right? There is no creep here. But keep on screaming my man. Keep screaming cause we all know you will do nothing else.

Stop being ignorant and read why.

Most dumb thing I will hear all day.

Once again.
Pot meet kettle.

This is a Louisiana issue. I've had my Real ID compliant DL for more than 4 years now.
Yet another example of how backwards Louisiana is...
