I spent almost a year in Akron off and on. It's a college town and I was maybe 25 at the time. I see more attractive women in BR in a day out and about than I'd see there in months.
There were a few college bars that were exceptions near Akron University but I didn't go out there much. It wasn't very near the corporate apartment.

California and its not much of a competition. However there are aspects of southern women that are more appealing.

Those two cities are full of beautiful people because it’s the hub of the fashion industry as well as TV and cinema.These people are mostly transplants.

Without thinking it through, perhaps the mixture of all the various cultures in the south over time, English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, etc. The South is pretty diverse and has been for a century or longer compared to many other regions.

I actually just went to an in-laws wedding and the dude is from money in southern England. They have property in the French Riveria. The dude and his family look as much if not more stereotypically British and inbred than most.
