Started drinking Evan Williams egg nog around 10am and have devolved into Gentleman Jack and Coke this afternoon. Just a weak buzz as of now though, drinking water in between. Ain’t trying to get blitzed on turkey day like some of you degenerates.

Probably the best financial thing to happen to you yet. The polo fields are littered with once future derby winners.

The QHs all go to Mexico apparently. Not sure if there are
Polo fields down there.

Feeling pretty solid right now watching football.

I bred him knowing he’d have a home for life. Just got lucky that he’s a good jumper

The jockey club now has the thoroughbred incentive program so TB only classes are popping up everywhere. It’s nice to see. I’m not a warm blood fan. We go to the championships in KY every year.

He and my other one are still a financial drain. But... they make me happy

Pretty much all that matters. As long as you enjoy it, it’s worth it. Glad he’s found a vocation.

I had a great big beautiful grey TB filly in my barn last
Month. She bowed a tendon. Now she’s in Texas to pursue a career as a recipient mare. That tall sucker could’ve cleared a fence with no effort. But I sure wasn’t gonna test that theory.

Properly rehabbed, I’d take one with an old bow. So many people shy away from so many things and miss out on a good one. My chestnut cracked his shin and has never had a problem with it.

Hopefully she enjoys life as a recip mare

I love alcohol of all kinds, but if I'm going all day, it has to be beer. I can crack open a light beer at 10 and drink one every 45 minutes to an hour and go until 2 or 3 in the morning.

So, yeah, I've killed about 14 Yuenglings today in addition to a bloody mary and a glass of wine with dinner.

In my mind, I'm perpetually keeping myself at about a .09-.11
