Seems like a great way to do like a gift or fun weekend. But terrible for something like a family vacation where you need a car.

This is where you rent out your car and it comes back like dirty mike and the boys had a party in the backseat

Rented from Turo a few years ago. No idea how some people are making money on there. They price their shite way too cheap.

This was back when you just about couldn’t find a rental, only ones available up there were $600/day, got a new 3/4 ton Silverado for a pretty reasonable price, dude even packed a cooler with beer, salmon, and moose, let us use his fishing gear too

ETA: elk, not moose

They don't. They just think they will. If you compare apples to apples with the exotic rental market the prices are generally WAY too cheap (or they were I haven't looked in a while) to make money even if they don't have any issues.

It's nice to use if you're driving through snowy mountains.

You legally have to have chains in your vehicle, but you're also not allowed to have chains on a rental.
That's where Turo comes in handy.

We flew to Austin on a vacay mid summer. Uber to downtown Omni from airport and anywhere outside of walking distance.

Used Turo to rent a 2020 Mustang Convertible to drive to Fredricksburg and Tx Hill/Wine/Bourbon Country one day and Lake Travis the next.

Easiest process possible and much less expensive than traditional rental chains with way more selection.

10/10. Would recommend.

I did a AMG GWagen a few years ago in Colorado abd I think they had me around 115/day and 200 miles.

In my head doing the math I did well over $1500 in use for about $350.
