I was there for that because of my undying love for chopped and screwed chamillionaire tracks during high school. I think I remember they wouldn't let him curse though.

It was such a strange thing. The whole thing was put on by some sober organization. Hey Guys, let's have a big concert with no drugs or alcohol or swearing and invite rappers and has beens! Yay!

They definitely had it 08-12 or so. Weezer played one year but it ended up getting moved to the river center.

Three 6 mafia was fun. I think it was ‘99. Also saw Stroke 9. I think it was the same year because I think I only went once.

Was definitely there for that. Surprisingly entertaining and good lineup.

I was there too. I remember Cabrera coming out in a male LSU cheerleader shirt.

Ryan C dressed as a male cheerleader. He knew he had one song so he had to step up his game throughout the show.

Did Paul Simon cover too

Didn’t that lead singer die at an early age?

I could swear it was going on in the 80s. I know there was some big music thing on the parade grounds. But back then it was mostly local bands....Dick Nixons, Shot Down in Equador Jr., Lower Chakras....

Nappy Roots had bales of hay all over the stage and during the last song they pulled them apart and threw that shite EVERYWHERE and just walked off

The Premier Audio guys were like “who the hell is gonna clean all this up?!?”

OK. Must have needed more room when they started having name bands. The "Grounds" was a reference to the Parade Grounds.
