Scoot is good. Dave Cohen is really good.
T-Bob is very good (except when he talks about fantasy sports, but then again I don't enjoy that) and Seth Dunlap needs to be given a bigger role.
The rest of them are pretty bad.
But truthfully over the years I've listened to a lot of local talk/sports radio in many cities while traveling, and it's all pretty bad. There is a reason so much stuff these days is syndicated. Most radio stations in this country are owned by a half dozen companies and they want the most non-offensive, bland, plain hosts that they can find, who can tell bad jokes and laugh a lot. There are only so many tools to go around, so they just syndicate the same few turds all over the place.

Scoot is the best IMO

And what that make you?

If we lost Bobby and Deke, it just wouldn't be the same.
As much as we like to bash them, they're like cotton: the fabric of our lives.

I think you have to be borderline retarded to listen to WWL daily and actually enjoy it.
He is retarded

I am a big Kaare fan. A few months back, I texted WWL early in the morning. I texted: "your station sucks, you guys need to open the wallet and beg Kaare to come back". I got a reply saying: " hey Kaare, how you been?" I called Kaare that evening and told him the story on air. He got a good laugh at it. I really don't know how many listeners he has. It seems as if he sometimes is begging people to call him. Kaare definetley loves New Orleans, no question about it.

Eric Asher is good too

Heard David Tyree was really good. A shame he died from cancer. I think Garland took his spot after Hurricane Katrina. Then he switched with Spud and when spud left Angela took over and now Scoot is there. I also remember at night when Bob Mitchell and Vince Maranello were on. That was before he killed his wife obviously. Seemed like a normal guy I didn't see that coming.

frickin Vince.
What an a-hole. I hope he's getting butt raped in prison right now.

He fills in from time to time. Mornings last week were much better since he was subbing for Tucker. I get the impression he is enjoying only working fill-in.
I remember when him and Vince had that night show, the first show after Vince was accused or arrested, I don't remember which. I could listen to their show while living in Houston clear as day at night. I made sure to tune in to see what would happen. He obviously had written something that he read on the air. The gist of it was, "I love you Vince, I hope you didn't do this, but if you did, frick you"

Last time I listened to him, he seems to have downplayed the awful shtick he used to use. But he has so few callers that all he does is ramble on and on and on.
I don't think he is any better than any of the current WWL offerings, though.

I like Bobby and T-Bob. Everyone else is ten day old stale bread.

I didn't realize he had a true speech impedement, I just thought he didn't know how to pronounce it.
