And I can see how if you’re in a profession with weird work schedules (like, say, nursing) the on demand option makes sense. But for someone who works normal hours, any decent spin studio will offer multiple morning classes, a midday class, and multiple evening classes. When most people exercise.

And you live in Scottsdale but would rather “train” on a spin bike.
Brilliant
I still ride my bike outside fwiw (I'm not a road cyclist though). I get up early and am at the gym at 4 am so I can workout before work. Usually that means I do a quick 30-45 minute spin class off the peloton app. So you think I should be riding outside on my bike in the dark by myself? That is just dumb and dangerous.
Also...in case you didn't know...it gets fricking hot as hell in the summer. Not the best weather to ride outside unless you would like heat exhaustion.

I am really pissed about the Russians and their meddling in the last election.

Way to go.
As long as you’re happy keep spinning.

Yeah but not everyone likes group classes for exercise. Peloton on demand is perfect for those people. I personally hate any kind of group classes. I am very much a loner at the gym and just like to be left alone and do my thing. I like that I can just be by myself in the spin studio with my own personal class.
I'm not paying $$$ for a spin studio membership. I'm just going off the ones offered at my gym. They only offer spin classes M/W/F at 5:30 am and 5:30 pm with a class saturday am(this is LA Fitness). 5:30 am too late for me and I never do well working out after work. And again...I hate crowded group exercise classes.

You do you. Clearly there’s a market for it and they’re making money. I actually prefer a group class atmosphere. Im competitive and they make me push myself harder than I would by myself.

The peloton bike you have your stats for the live classes....so you can see your rank with everyone else out there that is doing the class live with you.

I’m sorry that you’re too poor to afford this equipment

I mean, if it’s really worth $2k to someone to be able to exercise from home, then more power to you. But I don’t see why you wouldn’t just go to a spin studio.
Rotating schedules with mom and dad having jobs, on a good day spend 11 hours away from my sons, that’s most of the time they are awake by the way. Having this in your home to access rather than diverting more time away is incredibly beneficial.
Also allows you to complete your workout while kids are asleep if spouse isn’t home for you to leave

About to come out with a treadmill and announce an IPO. They are making sure that people know who they are.
Love my peloton and Jenn Sherman as a blonde....

I'd pay $14.95/month to be able to ring that Asian chicks shorts out into my mouth a few days a week.

People pay the money because time is money for people like me. My wife and I have very demanding jobs and 3 little boys 6 and under. It's the reason I built a garage gym. Do I ever expect to get the crazy amount of money I have put into over the last 4 or so years? Hell no, but it has allowed me to get back into great shape and strong as shite while not neglecting my kids or wife one but. I can go out and ift or do cardio after everyone is in bed or at 4 am before any of the gyms in my area open. Plus I can lift like I want and not wait on anybody. It's worth it for me.
