I have a question, loser coach.

At what point in your life did you realize you'd always be surrounded by losers?

Some therapists can be considered life coaches..

It's not really a crock. The most sincere and helpful people I have come in contact with were technically life coaches.. And far superior than a standard therapists.

Sometimes I think that my girlfriend thinks she is my life coach, which really sucks sometimes.

Is that your sales pitch? 'I sucked at one point, but believe me, I can help you not suck.'

Quite a leap you made there. Let's talk about why you're so unhappy and what we can do about it.

A friend of mine's wife had a life coach to help her with her MLM business. She ended up leaving him for the coach.

I think some of the titles can be interchangeable.
Life coach, counselor, therapist. I seek mine mostly for anxiety. Haven't needed them lately, because they really taught me some awesome tools to deal with it via awareness/mindfulness, focusing on senses, breathing exercises (specifically breathing with your belly as you inhale through your nose), "journaling" (writing down your feelings during sensations), and just many more practices.. and the power of healthy repetitions.. focusing on the positives/wins for the day rather than keying in on a certain setback.. one of the biggest forms of rational thinking is recognizing a thought is just a thought.

My counselor was covered by my insurance and she was really great at her job. She even said the less you need me the more effective I am doing my job. It got to where I would check with her less and less until I completely stopped making appointments.

I follow another guy who is a certified life coach I believe.. and he helps so many people and doesn't even charge. He does have a program, but he doesn't ever push it.. He is always offering free advice, podcast, strategies, and hosting free weekly meetings. It's not always about a money grab. It can be people who have gone through things that truly want to help others come out of it.

I'm intelligent, insightful, and practical. `I know good direction and how situations should be handled, don't need anyone to advise me.

Problem comes in.... the discipline or ability to act on the right thing! I believe that's where most of us struggle.

My buddy has one. He recently told me and then went straight into justifying it without me even saying anything. That tells me that deep down, even he knows it's bullshite. I've been joking lately that I may go into life coaching in a few years when I retire. I'll charge dumbasses $150 an hour to tell them "you can do it!"
