I'm waiting for the second generation and I'll grab one. Elon already said they're going to have a lot more features available in later model 3s but they don't want to delay production and deliveries because of advanced features, kind of like the falcon doors delayed production of the model x. They look great though.

On a side note I test drove a model S with the "ludicrous" speed thing last week in Dallas, that gave me a new level of respect for Tesla. I don't see many cars keeping up with that thing.
