None had an STD when I slept with them but they did after.

As long as she's not having an active break out, you're still good to go with her. THe fact that she told you before hand is a good sign though. Move forward on the sex.

I started googling after she told me and from the sites I visited, it can still be spread even if sores aren’t present. Probably just a lot less likely if there isn’t an outbreak

Some diseases are dormant for years. Did you know that 1 out of every 5 people have herpes? That’s worse odds than Russian Roulette.

After we were married, my second wife told me she had divorced her third husband because he infected her with chlamydia.

Yeah. Found acyclovir in her medicine cabinet the next morning. Dodged the bullet, it would seem.

Actually probably more frequent than that. That is only counting known cases. Many people never have any symptoms so may have it and never realize they do and spread it to others.

It’s why regular STD testing is always a good idea if you are not in a monogamous relationship.

Also possible to have other STDs and never show symptoms (ex: chlamydia).

Considering this is literally the easiest STD to get rid of (you take a single pill one time and avoid sexual contact for 2 weeks), I’m gonna guess the fact that he cheated is really the reason for the divorce.

Gf had a yeast infection one time... said can’t have the sex. I said yes we can.

10 seconds later fire was shooting out my dick.

Not an std but still burned for a good 15 minutes or more.

Yes, but not knowingly. Got treated for trich and chlamydia. The scary thing was that I didn't experience any symptoms for either.

Nah, I didn't even get tested. She told me what she popped for, and I just called up a buddy who gave me the correct anti-biotics.

I think you could get infected by turning a doorknob.
