I find a nice sports bar and head there for a few beers and a burger. Did this for 10 years when I travelled a ton. No big deal. Sometimes you start up a conversation with people and sometimes you just watch a game and relax. I had several places when I sat down they would just bring me my beer knowing what I drank. Met some nice people.

When I'm traveling? All the time.
At home I will occasionally go to 1 of 2 neighborhood bars if I've had a shitty day
