I'm working, along with several others.
I work in industrial sales, helping all those plant workers who put everything off until today, and now all of a sudden "it's an emergency"

I didn't think people typically had today off. Do offices generally make today a holiday, or are people just taking vacation days?

Why aren't people working tomorrow?
And nothing "good" about that Friday for Jesus, if the accounts I've read are true.
"Thou hast said." Pretty good line.

Already sold a week long cabling project this morning. Working on ordering materials now for some jobs. It's a money making day for me.

I'm working. It's not considered a holiday by my hospital.

It's what we call a half arse holiday or virtual holiday, the office is open, 3/4 of people are either completely out or "working from home" out and generally nothing going on except whatever individual deadlines people may have. You can take the day off or halfass it and leave around noon. It's like they keep the office open just because.

shite!
It looks like it's just my team that isn't working today. I walked in and the office was almost full. It's a good thing I didn't come in dressed casual as I thought about doing. This is a huge bummer.
And embarrassing. I came in with very unkempt hair. :(

I'm off. My wife is working, so ai'm watching the kids. The day off that is not a day off at all.

We get a "floating holiday" for today that we can choose to use for Good Friday or use it at another time.
I typically use today as a day to catch up since it's not very busy and just use my floating holiday to extend another holiday where we actually get the day off .
