What industry. How long?
Currently racing against the clock to get certain certs so that if I get laid off I can find work quickly. Lay offs happen constantly in my industry.

Aerospace…I went to LSU for 8 years, I don’t have a single cert. I retired from continuing education (certifications).

I have a neurosurgeon consult coming up 11/4 for 4/5 fractured lumbar just from plugging in an electrical cord (one of those times the socket just didn’t want to accept the plug so I naturally pushed harder).
Take care of yourself. The company will not do it.

Put the past to rest, it’s over and done with, can’t be changed. Go into the new job content that you do not have lingering confidence in the ex employer is not finished tanking.

Looks like I start Monday…gonna be head hunting my laptop and badge. 2 days off work, $2k signing bonus, paid out vacation hours…same salary. Still, pisses me off a bit.
