Actually many large people have tried diets and workout programs and still can't lose weight. If you have large genetics unfortunately being heavy is just in the cards
Complete and total BS and a copout...

When you fat shame it can lead to depression and more eating fwiw

Definitely not me, but he doesn’t eat much either.
I think we are currently - 4’9”/90lbs for me, 5’9”/155 for him.

It is depressing being fat. I was there for way too long. I recently lost about 100 pounds. Never accepted being fat and I hated myself for it and the years wasted being a fatass.

You're getting trolled, baw.
Posted on 11/5/17 at 1:50 pm to arkiebrian
Which is why we need body positivity. If large people weren't shamed for enjoying food then maybe they wouldn't be depressed

Me by a mile. My wife is 5'6" and maybe 120 lbs. She eats like a bird.

Agreed. No reason to make them feel bad for the way they were born.

BS
Its also killing them and is an enormous strain on the healthcare system. I'm thankful my family gave me hell about being fat so I did something about it.

I don’t think we should antagonize and persecute overweight people, but I don’t think we should just tell them that everything’s all hunky dory and that they look great the way they are either.

Personality is the main thing we need to worry about.

Actually being overweight isn't that unhealthy. Most of the problems with being overweight occur from the bigotry people of size receive from skinny people

I think we're on two different subjects because being obese is most definitely unhealthy.
Posted on 11/5/17 at 2:32 pm to arkiebrian
We'll have to agree to disagree
Posted on 11/5/17 at 2:36 pm to arkiebrian
Actually many overweight people are athletes. Dwayne the rock Johnson has a bmi in the 40s which is considered morbidly obese. Would you consider him unhealthy?
Posted on 11/5/17 at 2:38 pm to el Gaucho
BMI doesn't work for bodybuilders.
Nice try though...
Whatever...enjoy being obese and the heart disease/shortened life that comes with it.
