Do better loser

The garage is on the left. Behind the firewood. The kitchen is the building on the right. They even have a sign that says you can get a free lunch while you have your car serviced.

There's a universal truth, that if you're getting tacos or BBQ at a hole in a wall place it's almost certainly going to be quality.

The best bbq I ever had was on the outskirts of Starkville that had junk cars and chained up dog out front. It would have made this place look like the Waldorf

Must be talking about pettys. I lived in Starkville for a year and ate there at least twice a week. The ribs are still the best I’ve ever had by a wide margin.

Actually no…maybe I wasn’t looking for it. I’ve eaten A LOT of brisket sandwiches in my 55 years and I’ve never been served a brisket sandwich that had anything added to it other than brisket, sauce and bun.

Just about every respectable bbq joint in TX gives you onions and pickles with your bbq, and often jalapeños too. They pair really well with bbq.

Shout out to the place I previously mentioned. If anyone is ever in the Ft Lauderdale area, give it a shot.

That's a pretty long drive from Houston, TX. I'll let my brother that lives in Tampa know.

what many would argue is one of the best BBQ joints in Arkansas - Craigs does not appear on the surface to sling out some good food

the ribs and sauce are legit

I like mom and pop resturants, but not food trucks.

Food trucks are fine but they have gotten out for control. The prices are way too high. $15-20 for a meal is crazy. They all want to be Food Network instead of a local roach coach.

The main order there is their pork sandwiches. Get them “hot”. It is fairly slow, so if you’re driving from Little Rock you want to call by at least Carlisle.

Here’s the call:

(ring)(ring)(this can last a while)(ring), etc.

Lady: “Craig’s”

Me: “I’ll take three, hot”

Lady: “ok”

(Click)

And then you’ll still have to wait 15 minutes when you get there, but it’s worth it.

What was the BBQ place at 73 and 42? Just off of Airline. I lived off 42 behind the Piggly Wiggly.
