Aristotle Onassis...who transported tankers full of booze during prohibition for JFK's daddy Joe . It was AG Bobby K. that really pissed off Onassis. So Onassis had them both whacked, took JFK's woman and his gun in true "Boss" style.

Ive shot full metal jacket bullets thru thick arse pine trees and they came out more "Pristine" than that one - that is if the didn't fragment like a grenade. Which is exactly what the head shot bullet did.

The dude is a known plagiarist. Don't start acting like that doesn't matter when his profession is a journalist and author. And then you cite him as credible mic drop mother of all sauces. No thanks.

I'll go with Cyril Wecht, who is much more credible.

secret service shot JFK, accidently. the fatal wound came from an upward angle. Meaning the "shooter" or firearm(which the secret service were using at the time and were fairly new to them) had to be below JFKs head level. Lee Harvey fired the first shot though.

The late Marine Corps sniper Carlos Hathcock attempted to duplicate Oswald's "feat" at Marine Sniper School in Quantico recreating the same conditions.

This guy, possibly the world's foremost sniper, couldn't get three accurate shots (including a headshot) off in six seconds on a moving target using the same Manlicher-Carcano bolt action that Oswald allegedly used. There's no way that Oswald (under arguably combat conditions) could've done it.

This? You are correct, the M16 (or still known as the AR15) was new to the Secret Service. But as you can see, agent was not below JFK head level. Further investigations show the weapon had not been fired.

I've heard it theorized that he was in on the plot but had a change of heart and intentionally missed the first shot in order to alert the SS that something was up.

Oh, the humanity.

Article about Posner's plagiarism

Veteran journalist Gerald Posner acknowledged today that he copied five sentences from a Miami Herald article this week for a piece he wrote for the Daily Beast. The Daily Beast appended an editor's note to the beginning of Posner's piece today, explaining that the copying was "inadvertent" and that the Daily Beast has deleted the copied passages.

Here are the relevant sentences from the Feb. 2 Miami Herald story by Julie Brown, which was about a local murder and estate battle:

One incident that adds up to nothing. Keep trying though, it's fun.

Oswald acted alone. I enjoy all the conspiracy theories, though.

I enjoy debunking them. There are some good documentaries that debunk all of the nutjob "I think" conspiracies.

Almost as fun as debunking the moon landing nutjobs.

The frickin Marcello's did it. Mafia, mafia, mafia. Get it out of your heads that the government had something to do with it. Hell, even Oswald was from New Orleans.
