1. Eddie Murphy is my #1 by default. Delirious was the first stand up I ever watched. I was in 5th or 6th grade and remember laughing my arse off.
2. Bernie Mac was always funny to me.
3. George Carlin was hilarious.
4. Don Rickles was a trip.
5. Richard Pryor should be in everyone's top 5.
6. Jim Norton is pretty goddamn funny.
7. Chris Rock.. Come on? You don't like Chris Rock?
8. Steve Harvey.. This dude is funny as hell.
9. Kevin Hart is funny.
10. Rodney Dangerfield.
I never thought Bill Cosby was funny. I didn't like the whole "I don't have to curse to be funny" bullshite.
Sarah Silverman is funny. Aziz Ansari is funny as well. Joan Rivers is a classic.

I won't give a top 10 because I think that is stretching the list bigger than it needs to be for me. I'll just give the ones who I think of as being my top tier. Reserve the right to forget someone though.

Mitch Hedberg
Bill Burr probably belongs on this list and maybe Louis CK, but I just haven't watched enough of their material to put them there.

Pryor and Carlin. Game changers. Did they come up with it all by themselves no - but they made that brand of comedy great.
