Sorry for clickbait title, but you know that's exactly how this story would read on most news sites.
Also siap, searched few different times and couldnt find anything.
Washingtonpost link The internet tried to add this as another "racist Karen incident". But the full video appears to show something different.
Youtube
The couple ended up getting arrested, but what are yall thoughts. Was she justified in pulling out her weapon. I say yes, but apparently the cops disagree, so idk.

So confrontation leads to white family attempting to leave and black women tries to get behind the car to block their retreat and then strikes vehicle and then she is surprised her force is met with force?

I'm aware it is old. I hadn't seen it discussed here so I brought it up.

Man, I don't know. So the black lady hit their vehicle with her hands/fists and as a result gets a barrel to the chest? Seems a little overkill but that's just me and granted it was hard to follow what was going on so I could easily be swayed to view this differently.
Now if the black lady would have had a bat or something threatening other than long fingernails then I totally change my mind.

I hadn't seen or heard about this one before. I'll give my honest assessment, FWIW. The article definitely leans towards the people who had the gun pulled on them. It stated the driver appears to try to hit one of the family members. I call bullshite on that. They were trying to leave and the family member blocked them.
As for pulling out the gun, I don't think it was necessary. I personally wouldn't have feared for my life in that situation. The woman didn't appear armed (if she was she didn't seem intent on pulling it out, as mad as she was). And I would not have felt they could impose harm on me without a weapon, So I wouldn't have pulled my gun. Now, did it allow them to leave? Yup.
I think the assault with the vehicle charge should be thrown out because the woman put herself in the way. And once she slapped the vehicle, I suppose they could say they feared for their life. But I think they overreacted and will probably be in trouble for pulling the weapon.
I think both parties handled this situation poorly.

The husband’s charge will be dropped.
Sadly, the jury won’t either. That’s why I think her charges will stick.
