This take is worn out and wrong? What was he being arrested for? The cops were 100% wrong but want to manhandle the populace for telling them they're wrong. Being arrested for resisting arrest of a crime he'd not committed.
No. Your take is ignorant as hell.
Why can’t people like you think these things through?
Cops werent picking on this guy. They were trying to solve a crime. They saw a dude who, presumably, matched the information they were given, at least enough so to DETAIN him.
Detention is not an arrest.
All of you people talking about “stupid police” and being “Floyded” only causes people like this dude to resist arrest, and then get themselves or the cops hurt or killed.
The other thing you constantly do is give a knee jerk reaction before all of the facts are known. For example, the hot pavement issue is obviously a problem, but you don’t know how hard this guy resisted or what the alternatives were.

I’ll say the same thing as I said for Floyd. Quit resisting arrest and this won’t happen. It’s very simple.
Yep. Lay there and calmly take your third degree burns like a man

You seem very ignorant of cop behavior.
The cops thought they had their guy so they put him on the pavement, hot enough pavement to cause 3rd degree burns.
I'd like to see you try to remain calm while having your face and body put on a frying pan.
You seem to think the cops won't take you to the ground if you aren't resisting, that's not how it works when they see you as the bad guy that they just caught, which is what happened here.

Especially the Phoenix PD who haS been under DOJ investigation for a couple of years now for abusive practices.

The fact they had the wrong guy doesn't make the arrest illegal. It's all about what the officers believe, and they can believe anything.
It would have been cleared up later, probably on the way downtown.
Never resist arrest. If they are going to frick you up, .make sure your case for suing them into oblivion is solid.
Dude has a solid case for sure. From the video it was clear they couldn't have even had enough time to explain to the guy, who stopped to their command and was clearly cooperating, what was going on before they started to detain and arrest him. They didn't even know what was going on. Oh look, there's a white guy, let's grab him.

White George Floyd
The "white George Floyd" will always be Tony Timpa. Approximately 4 years before Saint George of Fentanyl, Tony Timpa went through nearly a nearly identical situation (the only real difference was that he had not taken his medication, as opposed to Floyd... oh, and Timpa wasn't black).

you believe that is the suspect and he resists than you have to take them down. That is why you don't resist no matter if you are right or wrong. These police can only go off of what info has been reported to them. Are you saying police shouldn't detain a person unless they are 100% sure it is the right one? If that is the case a lot of criminals will get away.
Police shouldn't detain a person based on 0% certainty they have the right guy. The dude was cooperating and then they decided to physically restrain him.

Please read that a few times. What arrest was he resisting when he was only being detained?
If anything the cops manufactured a crime because of their wrong information and desire to want to be right.

Problem I see in the videos is the cops about 99% of the time never make contact with the complaintant first to verify anything or clarify anything. All the innocent knows is they are getting hassled by the cops. The cops never verify they got the right guy and when they finally do they seem to figure out how to hold them half the time.
