I may be naive, but I really thought this level of redneck racism didn't really exist anymore. And I've lived in the South my whole life. I watched the beginning of A Time to Kill not,too long ago and remember thinking just how cartoony those rednecks were. It felt fake. Perhaps I was wrong.

I'd say a 5 year sentence would be sufficient. But I'm not losing any sleep either over their big sentence. Even though they are racist idiots, no one was hurt.
