Everything is trashy, even the stuff you do in someone elses eyes.

Stop worrying about being trashy

Hopefully they will pour them in to glasses or cups at a minimum.

Gotta have customized wedding koozies to add some trashy points.

The trashy part is saying on the invite what kind of alcohol you are having at the wedding, period.

That is not something that needs to be on a formal invitation.

Everyone does this now. I’ve been to weddings at Colonial Country Club, a wedding that had like 750 people at it with full open bar, and a wedding in Park City that rented out a resort that all had koozies

It should have said beer and seltzers. You didn't identify a beer brand so why specify a seltzer brand.

I went to a wedding once where the table cloths were actually black trash bags wrapped around plastic tables and taped underneath.

There was a keg in the corner.

It is super trashy, but probably all they can afford.

And you know what- I fully respect that.

The couple threw a party they could afford.

Not going into years of debt to satisfy someone elses idea of what a reception should be.

In my experience, these "less expensive" receptions are usually more fun anyway.

Not surprised.

"Couples" in your circle of acquaintance generally don't have kids (owing to the fact they can't as a biological pair make them), so they have more disposable income for weddings.
