I know it won't be Alabama, we don't even have the lottery yet.

My guess would be Florida.

Virginia, due to the influence of the heavily liberal northern part of the state.

One of the few that isn't incredibly stupid: Florida, Virginia, North Carolina or Louisiana in that order.

Adelson, the jackass republican big wig, donor, fricked florida last year when he spent a lot of money trying to stop it. All the while spending money to try and get gambling legalized fully in Florida.

I thunk it is back on the agenda, maybe as a constitutional amendment this year. It will pass in Florida pretty soon. Adelson has only delayed it.

Georgia would legalize it before LA. Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama will probably be the last three states to legalize.

NC or Florida, if you consider Florida the South.

Florida or Virginia. Mississippi as a sleeper pick.

Florida will be but its a no-brainer that Louisiana should but then again we lost out to Mississippi on the Casino boom years ago too.

It’s déjà vu all over again for Florida’s controversial medical marijuana amendment, which is back on the ballot in November, two years after it failed, barely, to get the necessary votes.

Back then, the measure received 58 percent approval — just short of the 60 percent required for an amendment to pass. But this time, there’s a different political scenario. A presidential election likely will double voter turnout — and the chances for the amendment’s passage.

Here. Medical will pass in Florida this fall. Not sure how long it will take for full legalization.

LA has gone their own way on a lot of things, it's a shame they won't on this.

It will be Georgia. They are already moving to make all marijuana arrests misdemeanors. Atlanta makes the rest of the state a little more progressive and they are facing their own state funding problems. Property taxes are already high there and their gas tax is high as well. We d will be a new revenue source.

Florida won't go as fast. Too many blue hairs there that will vote at every opportunity.
