I’ve seen a lot of these clowns. They think an agent is slimy because they are too proud to talk about life insurance. I’m just trying to prevent your wife from running into Jody’s house when you croak. I’ll donate 20 to the go fund me

Hoss, one of your agents in MS 1000% did exactly that. I didn’t dream this or make it up. This particular agent had insured my parents for years. The guy died and the agency was transferred, sold, or bequeathed to someone else. The new guy tried his hardest to keep my Mom from filing the claim. Sorry to burst your bubble but not all State Farm agents are angels.
Yeah that’s the unfortunate part of their business model. The newer agents they push push push to sell more and help file less claims. The people who have been around 5+ years usually tell corporate to frick off because they are under contract to sell their services. The first 2 years as a new agent, they have you under a temporary contract before they will give you a “permanent” contract. You have to have certain metrics to get that permanent contract. And it causes situations like yours.

You misspelled military recruiter. "No slots available for airborne school. Just sign up for laundry specialist now and we'll find you a slot after basic training."

This isn’t the case anymore, change was made two years ago.

got a third inspection, and sure enough, there was indeed hail damage.

The roofer made those "hail hits" with his thumb/coin and the first 2 staff adjusters that came out knew it wasn't hail damage.

The 3rd adjuster was most likely an independent adjuster that didn't care.

Roofing salesmen/"hail experts"/"insurance experts" that travel state to state are the slimiest of them all. I used to be one. Fun first job out of college.

SF just paid for 1 square and 2 rain vents on a house that has a 15 year old roof and was the center of that large hail storm across the river a couple weeks ago. They are garbage.

Insurance. It amazes me to this day that some rando rep at United Healthcare/Blue Cross can make a decision that conflicts with the advice from a medical professional who went to school 5+ years.

There needs to be a huge correction on how these people get paid. A homeowner is forking over $30k foe the buyer and seller agent to split on a $500k sale. $15k to make a couple phone calls and print out some paper to sign is obnoxious. Don’t ever believe a realtor when they tell you how hard they work.

Most of these yahoos that are up in arms about under-indemnification probably don't want to talk about under reporting their building values for years and years and years.

The fact that you think the roof age is relevant shows you don’t know how insurance works at all.
