I have all those! haha
Only keep Commons and Uncommons in binders. Everything else stays in sleeves, even cheap Rares.

Yes and no.
Let me give you an example.
In 2012 I completed 1st Edition OG Base Set. Some of the main starter pokemon were purchased for $40 to $100. Blastoise $40, Alakazam $20.
In 2018 I sold the Blastoise for $400 and the Alakazam for $120.
That is just 2 cards, glad I bought dups back in the day. So it is an investment in way, and the market is even crazier now. Now just the cards I mentioned sale for around $500.

What's your point? The fact that the demand for these cards is out there confirms that there are a lot of idiots willing to pay for them.
It doesn't confirm that they actually have any value....except to total losers that never grew the frick up.

Golduck was always my favorite. In the games he can learn water, psychic, fighting moves, and thunder making him one of the most lineup versatile Pokémon you can have

One of my kids traded these things way back in the day. Recently I found the two huge Binders full of those. I gave them to him about 2 months ago because maybe some are valuable. I don’t know. He is 30 now.
