It doesn’t look like a Copperhead at all. The pattern of the bands is unmistakably Water Moccasin.

It's definitely a cottonmouth. Juveniles have more vibrant coloring. Cottonmouths and copperheads are both pit vipers though, so receive similar treatment for envenomation.
