It was a chocolate malt in a drug store/soda fountain in Mena, AR. Has to have been about 40 years ago. Simple, decadent and unexpected.

I'm not that familiar with LA, but I would go with a friend there after Dodger games when I was in town. Could not have been more than 15 minutes or so from the stadium

Gotta go with Dearman's and I have one about every other week. I used to like the Chick_fil-A chocolate shakes but they gave me a cookies and creme by mistake one day and I'm hooked. They are off the chart.
