It ain't easy being an Aggie on this board, it is a dumb hatred but I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with the Aggies in my area. I am going to be gently nudging my son to join the Corps of Cadets if he can't join the Air Force Academy
My granddad, dad, uncle and cousin were all in the Corps

First time ever having a “destination thanksgiving”. I put the O/U on family members arriving drastically late at 6.
Also one is bringing a small yappy dog which is gonna send me over the edge. Thankfully I am bringing enough liquor to supply the Russian Navy so it’ll all be good.

I saw there was a program for HS Juniors to hang out for a day with them but its a couple years off right now.

Niece and nephew came down with the flu today. SIL (their mom) was hosting Thanksgiving. In laws now are terrified. They are in their mid-80s in poor health, so I would grant them grace except they have been like this all their lives. We've avoided cancelling Thanksgiving by agreeing to eat in the driveway. Covid redux.

As an aside: did you know that video games now use speech recognition to auto ban people for being rude? How soft is that?
