Any chance we can get some legislation going to get Kip a fourth term? I'm not ready to let him go just yet.

No. That would have to go through the Metro Council where that would be a no-go with Delgado and the 4 black council people who would surely vote no on any such measure.
Kip is running for Congress, but he's likely DOA. Richmond is pretty much the only pro-business member of the Congressional Black Caucus. He's even backed by the local petro-chem lobby. Kip's career is likely over. A sad end to probably the best mayoral tenure in Baton Rouge's history.

That's a god damn shame then. Kip needs to be involved somehow with this State. I'm a Republican but a huge Kip Holden fan. I hope he succeeds in anything he does next.
