ice factories in Lubbock and Birmingham

I’ve toured the one in Bham behind the old Carraway. It’s quite the facility.

I’m sure the mark up on ice at most grocery stores is about 200%.

I have access to an ice machine so I don't buy it often but was surprised to see Rouse's charging $6 for a large bag of slow melt. I'm pretty sure last time I bought it the price was a little over $3.

Can we talk about how fricking corrupt Elsa is for a minute? She, the queen who can make unlimited ice out of thin air, ends the movie by granting an exclusive government contract for providing ice to her brother in law.

Is transporting ice even a thing?

Some stores and especially plants pay for companies like Roy’s ice to provide ice. It’s a whole lot more profitable to buy an ice machine and bag it yourself though for a store

Is the case jerky better than the prepackaged jerky?

I prefer it

Okay just stopped and got a half pound of teriyaki jerky from the case.

Let’s just say it didn’t make it to the Louisiana state line. I know I am a fatty.

And I was alone. No rug rats in the car today.

What I’d like to know is, what makes that ice special that it melts slower than regular ice?
