Well my boss just told me that he 100% believes this is all a politically fueled conspiracy and thinks that Martial Law will soon be declared.

It will be on the decline by then, if China is any indication. Whether it fizzles out over the summer or burns through the population like a forest fire is anybody's guess, but whatever it does will happen quickly.
