When I used to pick up chicks at the beach they all thought I was from Cali. It wasn’t just my looks because they’d often say I sounded like I was from California.
Chicks still dig my voice. I could go on and on but when you have a good voice, things tends to be a little wetter.

Lived in Baton Rouge for 36 years and have no clue what you’re talking about.

I always thought it was weird that Catholic High douchebags spoke like Spicoli in Fast Times at Ridgemont High while the St. Joe’s hoes all either sounded like Valley Girls or Reece Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama with zero in between.
Sounds like what GreenRockTiger said:

Red necks trying not to be red necks?
In the 70's, when I was at LSU, I thought the BR locals sounded like rednecks. No different than people from Monroe, Vidalia or or the part of Mississippi, where I'd lived. Was surprised when they didn't really sound like Cajuns, or NOLA people.
I've always thought BR was just a big little town, filled with people from lots of little towns. There wasn't anything there that we didn't have in Monroe.
NOLA is a different story. In the 70's, NOLA was like pre-Castro Havana.

That’s the sound of money. It began in Bocage in the mid 80’s.

A generation of us grew up watching Gleaming the Cube.
