My father is similar and wants to blame all his problems and bad decisions on others. I don't put up with victimhood mentality and he hasn't spoken to his children and grandchildren in years. I made my peace with it and we don't speak anymore. It is sad that it is that way ,but all of us were tired of his shite.

Yeah my dad is an abusive alcoholic. I just set some boundaries and loved him from a distance.
