Nobody actually understands the weather man. It’s a psuedo-science. May as well put the weather news sandwiched between ancient aliens episodes.

Starting to see lows dip into the 60s and that's a nice reminder that fall is on the way. Still anxiously the water from the sky though.

CRAZY!

Last Summer it rained so much the mud was turning green! Mowing grass was not easy! Barely 2 consecutive days that it did not rain from late June to mid September.
A conveyor-belt/train of moisture across the Gulf coast daily.

It got old! Feel guilty for complaining now....

....But really BR has been above normal the past 8 years since 2015 . The Great Flood of '16 + 2017 surplus was nearly 3 years worth in just 2 years.

What a difference a year makes! Think that underwater volcano in the South Pacific in '22 was a game changer.

Based on latest CFS model trends, it is showing well below average temp anomalies around 2 week of October.

First frost last year in North MS was 2nd week of October, and on average first frost is usually around 2nd-3rd week of October.

Latest model runs have also showed a huge dip in the the polar jet stream, and the first cold snap usually has a severe weather component to it. Last year first round of Fall severe weather was 2nd week of October.

A lot can change but based on annual weather pattern I would keep an eye on 2nd week of October. This first cold snap usually happens around this time regardless of which ENSO phase we are in.

Well now I have a timeline to look forward to! Fingers crossed that proves true again this year.

Rain and cool, but not cold. When we do get cold, it will likely be severe.

Weather constantly changes but left wing nut jobs wants everyone to believe man is the cause of it and you should hand over more money so it doesn’t happen again
