all i read was your topic but saw SNL, NBA, NFL. imo, there is no inequality on those levels or in the mainstream world. i think its all at the lower level where no one cares to do shite about it.

America is WAY more equal now they have ever been yet anyone in any type of social construct can cause a big fuss when there is the slightest hint of inequality and imo everyone is just overcompensating and giving less qualified people jobs over more qualified people so people don't get offended
You must be a young person. That all started about 45 years ago which put America in the shitter.

This phrase gets me- Tax the greedy, feed the needy. My tax goes up in this scenario. I am not greedy, I just busted my arse to get to a higher tax bracket. So, tax me more because I put forth an effort to get to a better level of income? Damn son! exactly. It baffles me how these people call it greed when you just want to keep the money you have earned, but when they want your money they aren't greedy. WTF
This is why we need a flat tax across the board, with few if any exceptions. Now I don't know what that rate would be but if most were paying their share it wouldn't be nearly as high as some of the figures I see suggested. You want to fix social security and at the same time encourage people to save for retirement? Any retirement accounts or such 401k's and other retirement plans are 100% tax free. Provided you don't dip into it until 65. Anything drawn out after this is tax free.

I seent a big arse rainbow/gay sticker on a car the other day and thought to myself....
All the gheyz want is to be treated equal. So why put a sticker on your car to set your self apart?

People are angry about unequal results. They'll complain as long as people think it's unfair that someone else has higher earnings or more assets than they do. Petty jealousy is never going away.

The funny thing is that they are treated equal. People who are straight have no more rights than they do. Ie- I, a straight man in Louisiana, cannot marry another man. Nor can they. Because we are offered equal protection under the law, and equal application of the law. What they want is an advancement of rights and new rights specific to them. That's very different than 'equal rights.'
ETA- you could argue that I have the right to marry someone that I love, but that isn't what I have the right to do.
Also, this isn't to suggest that such new laws should not be put into place. Simply an observation of the semantics used to obtain an end-point.

Never. People need a scapegoat to complain about what they aren't getting in life.
It's one of the hidden addictions in life that people never really admit they have.
Oddly enough, this is why meds are so heavily used.
"Are you overweight? It's not your fault. It's your metabolism. Take this pill and..."
"Are you tired all the time? It's not your fault. It could be a chemical imbalance. Take this pill and ..."
Inequality is the vice that people use to explain why their life sucks and "those" people have it so good.
The quest for "equality" will never end because there will never be true "equality". It's something that cannot be attained. Especially when it comes to money.

People that complain about inequality have no concept of what equality is, therefore they wouldn't know it if equality showed up.

I love that picture because it's not only absurd, but those people are stealing from the ballpark.

Looks to be a big league stadium where they let kids into the Batter's Eye?
