When will "Master's" degrees need renaming?

I learned today that Master bedrooms are racist and the new design term is "owner's suite."
Apparently that's about 3 years old.

I thought this thread was going to be more of an observation about how master's degrees are being given out in numbers comparable to bachelor's degrees from past decades and therefore are no longer as representative of elite intellect as they once were.

I was surprised by that last year when working with a tech on some lab equipment.
