I like the sales they do on Levi Jeans. And they have cool LSU stuff too here in Lake Charles. Also I get some sweet polos for cheap

I worked there for a little more than a year, and shop there all the time for Levi's, Jewelry, and button downs(Stafford and J. Ferrar). Also picked up some great dress shoes there for really cheap, made by J. Ferrar.
If you have kids, especially small children, you can't beat JcP for sales. On top of that, they usuually have items for as low as .97 for one Sunday out the month to get rid of excess inventory.
But yeah, I worked there during the whole CEO change and yes, everything someone said earlier about the average American consumer being dumb as frick is true. When the no coupon guy was there, you could get a pair of Dockers Life Khakis for 24.00. Customers kept complaining about no coupons anymore, so in Late March of 2013, we went thru every item in the store and marked up the price to MSRP. Those same life khaki dockers went from 24.00 to 48.00. But hey, coupons!!!!! I was part of the team that worked overnight marking the prices up.

There is one right by my office and it's nice in there. Their ties are cheap and look pretty good.

I know they've been around a long time. I just normally do my shopping in a mall at either Dillard's or Macy's

When weed was $10 an ounce and you could get a mind bending hit of acid for $3.

I buy a lot of the Stafford shirts. They don't last a long time, but the slim fits look nice and you can get a good 60 wears/washes out of them.

I thought the new CEO was smart to end all the gimmicky sales and coupons a few years ago.
If I remember correctly, he came from Apple, which does not really do coupons or sales. His mistake was he thought JCP had the same appeal as Apple.

Note: I'm not an O-T fashion expert.
When I need clothes, I first check the Dillard's Clearance Center. If they don't have it, I go to JCP. Pretty much all of my shoes also come from JCP. I also have about 15 of their stafford dress shirts.
I would say 95 percent or more of my kids clothing comes from either JCP or Kohls.
Wife buys a fair number of clothes from JCP as well.

What's feminine about having a bit of style. What kind of footwear do you sport?

This is an underrated thread.

Always like JCP. Better selection and service than most men's clothing places.
Anyone remember that when first issued, the Susan Anthony Dollar coin was called the JC( Jimmy Carter) Penny?

I have Wellingtons, hunting boots and hiking boots.
I don't wear any of them to work.

That's the AE Strand. A beautiful shoe.
AE also makes the Dalton,a wingtip ankle boot. Basically a much nicer version of the JCP Deacon.
