I'm planning on going indoors in a couple months, probably after I get back from Mardi Gras. I'm getting a tent. Though maybe not Gorilla even though they're the best. I'm tempted to go led with the lighting. Maybe LEC if my Christmas bonus is good. I kinda want to see if I can sneak a small crop in without my roommate knowing.

Trimming sucks, but I've got pretty good by the last couple plants. I was over trimming at first, and it was killing me on time.

I bought clones. Mainly because it's easier, about the same price, and I can buy them at the store legally. Plus, i didn't know shite about gardening when I started.

I didn't get my max yield because I didn't prune them as well as I should've. But I also intentionally stunted them in late July by leaving them in ten gallon pots. My neighbor runs a children's cooking school, and before flowering, they were already 5' tall. If I had transplanted them into 25+ gallon pots, they'd have doubled in size. But I didn't want to piss off the neighbors.

But strength and flavor are on point, at least the strains that have finished curing. But that scraggly bud makes for great hash and concentrates. Fox Farm is the shite. I also used molasses to enhance the flavor. No clue if it really helped, I didn't run an experiment, but the buds do taste sweet, especially the mango tango.

It was definitely fun to finally get to do it. Living in large cities, in states with mandatory minimums, I didn't have the balls to try it until now.

Experienced growers I know were impressed by the quality. I learned a ton about the plant itself, did as lot of things right, and did a few things wrong to learn from. fricking up can make for great learning experiences. Just don't frick up too badly, and it usually works out.


Worst mistake? I used different grow mediums inn different pots, then forgot which were soil and which were coco. That made getting the ph right a pain in the arse.

never regretted the gorilla. Its all quality. Can be a pain to set up and break down, but it's worth it. Controlled environment>>>>>free sunshine

The hortilux hps is amazing, I'm not experienced with led, though in an indoor setup, I'd feel much safer and less paranoid from fires. Even With an air cooled system they can throw off some heat. But at $70-$100 a bulb as opposed to some of the LED prices..both sides have their positives and negatives.

The ocean forest and happy frog combo is legit. The triple pack nute system is too.

A successful grow is high up there on "frick yeah" scale. I trust what has been there tried and true.

It took years, but the Chinese have finally started making quality led lights for very reasonable prices. Plenty are still shite. But there's a couple quality brands I've read about.

If I had the space, I'd definitely buy a gorilla. But at my current place, all I could fit would be a 2x4. And at small of a size, those plants couldn't get very tall to need the height of the gorilla.

But I've got more weed than I know what to do with. After I take a couple vacations, I'll go indoors. At this point, it won't be about the weed, but getting experience, as well as experimenting with what works best. I should have a few decades left on this earth. It'd be nice to never pay for it again. Especially if i move and I'm in a place I can't buy an ounce for under $100.
