Yall are depressing as hell. I know I have a different opinion that most of the people who will post in here, but I don't see the removal of the confederate flag as something bad. If you lived in a state that flew a flag that had some representation that is negative towards you, would you like it? You can say the flag means this and not that, but right or wrong, the perception of the flag is that it represents slavery & is associated with white supremacy groups.
Does some of this protesting go a little too far? Maybe, but if an issue causes enough people to protest that it gains attention then it has to be something going on. Also, what happens on a college campus doesn't always represent the true spectrum of society.

I'm slowly starting to realize that enough will never be enough. There will always be an "unjust" cause for some groups to cause a scene over. It seems exponentially worse these days with how quickly information, whether right or wrong, can be delivered to the masses. Problems that could've been solved in earlier times behind closed doors or with rational people will probably never be solved that way ever again. It's increasingly disturbing to me how some people continue to behave and expect to be taken seriously. I have been mulling a move recently and it looks like it'll be further from here than I thought.
Can't fight fire with fire and the results of these "protests" will be worse and worse for the general public as time goes on.
