There are developed cities in Africa. It's not all mudhuts. Nairobi is a very modern city.

Also has the largest urban slum in Africa, about three miles from where your photo is

Notice how all you people who bring the "it's very developed!" posts to us always use pictures from the air and not the streets? Wonder why that is

There are plenty of pictures and videos of Nairobi from the streets and it looks like Jamaica. So if that's considered the jewel of African advancement, well...

I've had the misfortune of visiting Nairobi for work. The aerial photos make it look modernized, but at the street level it's as third-world, dirty and disorganized as Mumbai; a place I've also visited for work and couldn't wait to leave.

Beautiful city, they did so much work to get it there. I’m proud of them.

Chinese state-owned and private construction firms dominate Nairobi's civil engineering, transport infrastructure, and commercial real estate sectors

The reason for this is that all of the builders, inventors, and great minds of Africa were sold into slavery and brought to America. Once here, that group built and invented everything that we have in America today.

I, for one, cannot wait until they finally solve the centuries old engineering conundrum of the ceiling chirp plaguing us all
