Probably gasoline. You have to have the explosive gas-oxygen ratio just right. I think it’s 17% oxygen. I’ve used gasoline,propane etc. The biggest bang I ever got was when I snaked some tubing deep in a crawfish hole by the bulkhead. Then I blew an oxygen/acetylene mixture into the hole,poured a quart of gasoline in for a fuse and waited 5 minutes. Momma called and had Dad come home from the office to shut me down after that. I was about 11.

put gasoline in an armadillo burrow under the house and lit it off. armadillo knocked me down running out and never saw him again

Youtube taught me one of the best ways to get rid of a large nest of hornets in your soffit.
Get your shop vac, put some water and soap in it. Prop up the suction end to be at the hornets entrance with a pole and turn that puppy on. One of the most satisfying things ever... the madder the get, the more likely they are to get sucked in.
