In my neighborhood where I'm going 25-30? Slow down or stop. On a highway? Sorry squirrel. Don't think I've ever hit one. Have hit a cat that jumped in front of me in the middle of the night though. Have also hit a deer

assuming that means to swerve to avoid it, that's just asking for an accident, which may injure others. I slow down, but I'm damn sure not going to swerve over.
