It appears they actually removed rebates from the 2020’s. That’s not going to encourage me to buy.

This. The 0% stuff isn't worth a damn unless they are also offering other incentives.

If you are financing a vehicle for 84 months, you probably can’t afford that vehicle. 72 is pushing it.

Your generic advice is worthless in the world of 0% interest.

it’s at zero percent I’m financing as long as they’ll let me

That’s fine if you’re gonna pay more than the monthly minimum.

Why would you pay more than the minimum at 0%?

What are you not getting?

I see that they have new incentives posted now. It’s not much different from last month. Compared prices On a couple trucks I’ve been watching. The listed price dropped a few hundred $. Nothing significant. Maybe they will be more motivated in a few weeks.

Looking to get 1-2 compact or midsize SUVs from Audi, BMW, or Mercedes. I think it’ll still be best to wait another month at this point

Anyone seeing anything on Toyota? Was thinking about replacing the wife's Sequoia...I loath dealerships so i'd love to take advantage of the hurt and scoop up a deal.

You realize that 0% financing for an auto loan does not work the same way as those 0% interest for 12 or 24 month promotions that furniture and electronics stores offer, right?

If you finance a car for 0% for 72 months and make the minimum payment on time every month, you will have paid the balance in full by the 72nd month and incur zero interest.

Those retail store 0% financing are really just credit cards with interest deferred. So if you don't pay more than the minimum each month, you won't have the balance paid in full before the 0% interest promo period ends and then you get hit with all that deferred interest. It doesn't work that way for car loans

Maybe someone who works at a dealership can answer this, but how long do you think it'll be before dealerships start having issues with lack of inventory because manufacturers have shut down their factories and aren't building any new vehicles possibly for the next few months?

Supply and demand play into this. Demand is down because so many aren’t working, but supply is down also. May not see prices fall drastically at all during this time.

I know there is some truth to this...but dont let that sales guy feed you this. Its a buyers market IMO, walk in with that attitude he needs your sale...you dont need his car.
