When did you start referring to your peers as men/women vs guy/girl?

When did you start referring to coworkers, acquaintances, etc in your age range as "man"/"woman" as opposed to "guy"/"girl"?
20's are clearly guy/girl, and I suspect 30s pretty much are too.
Those old enough to have made the switch, when did it seem to happen?
ex: "This woman I work with" versus "this girl I work with"

I started calling girls, bitches like right after I graduated high school. Now it's skanks since I'm out of college.

I'd imagine 40s. That's generally how I use it now

I interchange these 2 all the time for people below the age of 50

I feel like guy can be used much longer than girl. Like if we're both 55 y/o, I'll say "the guy down the street" and not find it weird or disrespectful. Can't do the same with girl/woman.
I think a girl becomes a woman at the same time you'd consider her a milf/cougar. If you frick her and think to yourself "I just fricked an old lady", you refer to her as woman.
