When doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses, and college students openly cheered because a man they didn't like was assassinated, I knew the Devil was real. That settled any doubt I previously had about God. I read the Bible start to finish and everything fell into place, it is crystal clear to me now. It has all the answers, and the answers never change. I now have love, joy, peace, and self-control. Those are fruits of the Spirit, which can only be obtained by saying no to the Flesh. Instead of "if it feels good do it", be the master of your domain. Your body is a temple where the Holy Spirit dwells, don't mistreat it. Set your treasures in heaven, not material possessions. All the anger, rage, bitterness, sadness, envy, and fear that consumes will dissipate. It is true freedom. But you will never know if you don't believe it's possible. That's the faith part.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
-- Hebrews 11:1

My testimony is too much to type here.
However, Jesus put me in position to open myself up to honestly and objectively hear Truth. One Sunday morning He sent me forward to confess. I was baptized and every day since then I continue to grow and it gets better and better.
