When did Tulane start requiring racial equity courses?

My nephew is starting Tulane in the Fall. He said he has to take a class about racial equity. It is required.

When did this happen? Is he going to be taught that he is the root of all that is bad, or do they have a section that says the Jews are okay?

Before the first class, he should go into the classroom and post a sign saying,

Leave your FACTS at the door.
FACTS are NOT WELCOME in this classroom.

Cause Tulane is 75% SJWs from the Northeast. It was only a matter of time before the student body would demand said courses.

I know it's true because it's your nephew and neither you or he would ever steer us wrong.

So, you think maybe he is lying or misunderstood, and that there isn't a mandatory racial equity class? I would actually prefer that reality.

Most curriculum requirements are easily verified by a university website so...how about you do the work instead of facebook statusing your way into an answer.

Also what is the "racial equity course". Is there a department? Instructor?

He has a choice. Pick another school. If he chooses to be at that liberal prison then he must bow to their demands.

Tulane is no longer the top scholastic college in Louisiana. It has fallen a good bit since China Inc took over its grad school

Click on this link to the Tulane Core Curriculum website, then "additional core requirements", and then scroll down to section about race and inclusion. It clearly says the course is 3 credits and it is required. There's different flavors of the course that meets the criteria so you can take more than one if you want to.

Furthermore, here is a message from Tulane's president where he says this:

quote:

In 2018, we began requiring all first-year undergraduate students to complete a Race and Inclusion course. This past year, university cabinet members completed a similar course and search committee chairs have taken classes on unconscious bias. These classes have been met with positive results. In the coming year, we will build on these programs to develop a broad-based racial equity education program.

But wait, there's more. My nephew sent me a link to an online thing he has to complete. Here is a link to that as well. This is in addition to the class that is required.

Try again.

So by your own admission, you finally looked into it and it was 2018 when this was adopted.

Go read your thread title again Einstein.

What am I trying again exactly? To prove that you are a hysterical baby crying on a message board because your NEPHEW (gasp!) has to take one fricking course that mentions race?

Get real (biden voice).

It's the University of New Jersey on Freret Street. It's a joke. I live near these people and see them in the coffee shops, restaurants and bars. There's no hope for that place.

It's a shame because it used to be a great school that produced pillars of the community. Not anymore.
